Conquering clutter: kiddie artwork (Part II)
Saturday, November 21st, 2009In May, I posted a CC entry on displaying and storing kiddie artwork. At the time, storing away our 2-year-old's drawings wasn't really an issue because she didn't have too many. But now, just six months later, we could probably devote an entire wing of the Louvre to her masterpieces. The little one seems to have found her inner Da Vinci and has been creating artwork like crazy.
Our poor refrigerator was suffocating and we were running out of magnets. So it was time to find a storage solution for the pieces that have been on display for several months. Here's what we're doing:

I decided to use an old shoe box.

Since it's a little bigger and deeper than a typical shoe box (it was a box for boots), I think it'll easily store several years' worth of our daughter's work.
What about you? What are your storage solutions for your kiddie's best drawings and paintings? Do you have tips or tricks to share?
